Casham Salone is a fintech ecosystem that uses technology to deliver financial services in a cheaper, better & faster way – and can be done by anyone through our mobile money platform. Financial inclusion in my world is quite simply about reaching poor and excluded groups who have never had access to formal financial services. CashamSalone’s mission is; To provide easy access to financial instruments for increased financial inclusion to all Sierra Leoneans especially women, youths and the unbanked, ultimately bringing CashamSalone to every household for a wide range of financial services.

CashamSalone is designed to be GSM operator agnostic with an easy to use application that can provide services cashless transactions in Sierra Leone, and the application can be used for several purposes and a network of already existing businesses who will also serve as our agents, with our agents distributed throughout Sierra Leone for easy Cash-in and Cash-out services.

At CashamSalone, we have been working on the nexus between financial inclusion and technology. Our mission is to understand the ways that better financial services, delivered through technology which can help people to improve their lives. In our thinking, financial services are not an end in themselves; they are a means to a greater end. With all the excitement going on in the fintech space, it is really important for us to hold on to the meaning of this term, financial inclusion.

In CashamSalone we thrive on cashless transactions with a user-friendly mobile money App, and my plea to all of you is to make sure that fintech innovation, and the forces that are driving it, help develop economies and produce opportunities for all, including the poorest among us.
